Dolch Sight Words by Kurt, Mary, Mark & Nicole

Alphabet Assignment

For this assignment we were required to use every inch of our creativity, we were asked to go out and find letters of the alphabet in places you wouldn't expect. Cropping the photo, or taking it as it is would do the trick.

Macro Assignment

For this assignment I got to play around with the idea of macro photography, macro is essentially extreme close ups on regular objects which turns normal everyday things, like pencils, locks, etc. Into interesting pieces of eye candy for your photographs.

This assignment allowed us to touch on how to capture motion in different ways and methods. We expressed motion through panning, capturing exaggerated movements, stopping motion, and blur to show motion. Capturing motion was difficult at first, but nonetheless it was a very fun experience.

For this assignment we got to take full control of our cameras and experiment with the manual settings. Our main focus was to show off a plastic egg in different settings and in different ways, like under a staircase, next to a building, using the flash, etc.

During our GCT class, we had an oppurtunity to go outside due to the blue sky and bright autumn colours. I explored the many differen tangles and places where I could capture elements of Winter and Spring together. As I strolled around the elemtary side I saw all the snow that clung unto the tree bark and tried to capture the bright yellow leaves in the background. This was my Result.
