It was a cool October morning and something unusual occurred, snow had fallen and created beautiful blankets of snow. Even though it had just snowed the sun was still shining in the bright blue sky. For our GCT class we went on an adventure around our school to capture photos of the odd weather conditions. My fingers froze as I carried the camera strapped around my neck. We walked to the playground to find the icicles hanging down the structures which created unique scenes for me to take.
When we were outside for gct we were taking pictures of the fall and winter.
before that day it snowed and the leaves fell so the pictures were a mix of both fall
and winter. This photos were taken outside of Sargent Park.
In the middle of fall it snowed, the snow covered the ground but the sky was blue. At school we had a GCT class, it was a good day compared to others, we decided to go out and take pictures. The sun was shining on this fairly cold day so I looked up at it and saw it that it shone on many of the trees. I wanted the contrast of the tree compared to the soft white snow that layered over them, and the colors of the leaves on the trees that led to beautiful contrast to the blue sky. I thought the sun gave a nice natural light to brighten the shot.
During GCT I was able to take an awesome blend of photos combining both fall and winter.
Most of my photos were taken at the structure and outdoor classroom. My vision for this slide deck was to mix two opposite elements such as fall and winter and display a balance of both worlds to show the amazing contrast it gives!
