manual mode and we had to figure out how to use manual settings in different
light. When using the settings in different lighting we had to change the aperture, shutter
speed and iso etc.

            An egg in manual settings is an assignment were given in GCT, in the assignment were supposed to take pictures of plastic eggs using only the manual setting on the camera. This assignment was to help and make us learn about manual setting how it works, how we use it, and more. This assignment gave me the opportunity on my own to experiment with the many possibilities that the manual setting offers and to struggle finding out what works for me and the pictures I take. This picture was one of my first pictures i took for this assignment, and because it was one of the first ones you can tell i wasn't yet comfortable with the setting and didn't know how to fix the lighting.

 Mr. Harbeck took us out to take photos but we had to figure out how to work the settings. It was very difficult at first, but I learned some things along the way. We learned how to make pictures brighter or darker without the use of editing. We learned to control the camera's shutter speed. The purpose of our project was to learn how to use the manual settings.

For this assignment, Mr. Harbeck gave us eggs as models. We were asked to take pictures of our eggs using the manual setting. My egg explored different locations in the school and in my home. Taking pictures outside was very difficult because there was too much light coming in. I figured out which ISO setting to use which helped my problem. As I got used to adjusting and figuring out the ISO, shutter speed, it became easier to capture the pictures.

In this assignment our class individually had to take pictures subjected to an egg, we went around the school.
The intent was learning the different factors that went into using a camera in manual settings.
We were presented with different requirements for each photo, and adjusting the ISO, Shutter speed, and f-stop helped situate for every photo. This task taught me different various settings incorporated photos, although the beginning was frustrating taking black pictures I slowly progressed and now have a better understanding.

In this assignment, we were given an easter egg to take pictures of in manual settings. We were in charge of changing the aperture, the shutter speed and the ISO settings in our cameras in order to get a good photo of our eggs. I kept playing around with the shutter speed and the aperture whenever we were taking the photos outside and inside. It's because outside has lots of light from the sun and inside there was only light from the building. For the ISO, it was better to have a lower ISO so the photo would be clearer, but if you require more light you needed to change the ISO higher. This assignment was fun to do because we kept playing with the camera and now I know how to take proper pictures in the manual settings.

In this assignment, we were given an egg and with the egg, we were tasked to take pictures of the egg in different areas and backgrounds. The slight twist was that instead of using the aperture or Av setting, we instead had to use Manuel settings and the main settings that we used in our photos was ISO, Shutter Speed, and F-stop. After this assignment, I had a better understanding of which settings do best with which conditions and what effect they have on the pictures. This brought out more options for me to use when taking different kinds of photos. Overall, this assignment was both fun and challenging and it really tested what I could do with a camera in hand.

For this assignment we were all given a plastic egg and we had to take pictures of it while using manual settings in different locations and lighting conditions. When doing this, we adjusted and played around with the aperture setting, shutter speed, and ISO. Doing this assignment helped us learn how to examine lighting conditions and understand how to manipulate our camera settings to get a good picture. In all my photographs I have my egg as the main focus but still making sure to showcase the different background settings and lighting. This was a more difficult assignment and most of my pictures were black screens but overall it was very fun and I enjoyed learning more about photography and camera settings.

In GCT we were given the assignment of photographing plastic eggs in various environments. While in manual mode we did our absolute best to take in account of all the elements such as lighting, aperture, and shutter speed to capture the best photos we could. Although I probably butchered most of my photos, I am glad to say I leave this assignment with a better understanding of my equipment and the importance of specific settings.

For this assignment, Mr. Harbeck gave us a plastic egg to take pictures of in certain places around the school. The pictures we took of the egg were in manual settings. This assignment was fun and a little tricky because we had to change the ISO, Shutter Speed, and other stuff due to the condition it was in. When we were outside, we had to make the shutter speed higher because there was lots of light from the sun. Although it was a little tricky, it was fun taking these pictures and I got to learn more about the camera settings.

How do you turn something as ordinary as a plastic egg into something interesting and eye catching? With this task, we really had to let our creative juices flow to come up with ideas that are captivating and not repetitious. Furthermore, shooting in manual mode was a requirement, which could end up both ways - a disaster or a gorgeous photograph. While shooting manually does tend to be very tedious while adjusting the settings, it was a very interesting experience, as the experimentation with shots resulted in varying photographs with the exact same subject. Admittedly, trying to figure out the aperture and shutter speed was a bit confusing, as well as figuring out what type of shot I wanted to produce. Do I want this shot in the bird's eye view? Worm's eye? Eye-level? Where do I want the light to hit? How should I position the egg? These were just a few thoughts that my indecisive self struggled with. However, I did manage to have end results that I am satisfied with.

For this assignment we received an egg from Mr. Harbeck. Our task was to go around and take pictures of the plastic egg. Mr. Harbeck has listed places where we have to take pictures of the egg. We had to take all the pictures in manual mode on our cameras. The different places also have different lighting conditions that we had to adjust the camera to.We had to analyze our lighting conditions to get the best of our pictures, like controlling our ISO, setting our F-stop and setting up our shutter speed. It wasn't easy, but we got to play around with the settings and learn more about the camera and photography as we did this assignment.

For this assignment we got to take full control of our cameras and experiment with the manual settings. Our main focus was to show off a plastic egg in different settings and in different ways, like under a staircase, next to a building, using the flash, etc.

For this assignment, we were given plastic eggs to take photographs of in a couple different environments. Our task was to succeed in the use of Manual mode to the best of our abilities. This required the analyzation of your lighting condition and the toning your ISO, F-stop, and your shutter speed. This was not easy considering that not all environments had lighting that was cooperative with the camera, but we had fiddled and worked with the camera to understand the use of each setting. Though I'd like to say that this assignment gave me a better understanding of how to work with my camera and the specific settings on it.

Hello again, here is my third GCT assignment on An Egg Using Manual Settings. We took our class time and outside of school hours to take pictures and put everything all together into this assignment. Our task was to take an Easter egg, provided by Mr. Harbeck in order for all of us to be successful, and was to take pictures of the egg using the manual setting on the cameras. Our focus was to take control on setting our ISO to a small number for lots of light or to a large number to get little light. We also had to be aware that the higher we set the ISO the more camera noise we will get, that means we have to try and prevent image noise so that is does not affect our image taken afterwards. Second, was to set our f-stop to a high or low number if the photo requires either lots of light (16,11,8) or needs more light (4, 2.8) Lastly was to set our shutter speed as well for lots of light (high number) or we need light (low number). We used all 3 of these settings to take our pictures both indoor and outdoor in different locations to complete our assignment.
