I chose Macro Photography for my second assignment in term three. I chose this assignment because i wanted to take pictures of the small details of an object. I needed to focus on the details of every object and I need to look closely to every detail. It was kind of difficult at first but then i got used to it and had fun. i had fun looking for the small details of the object that i was taking picture of

This is my first assignment for term 3. For this assignment, our main idea is to find 26 letters. I had fun going around and looking for letters but it was hard to find Pacific letters. I had to be careful when looking for the letters because sometimes I just need to look closely to find the letters that I needed. At first, I thought this would be easy but it turned out to be difficult I some ways. But it was worth it because it was quite an adventure.

SHOTS AND ANGLES: VIDEO EDITION



This assignment is about making a video tutorial. We can chose any topic that we want to do. What i did was how to bake brownies because i love baking brownies. This is our first time making a video, a movie this year. We had to learn how to make a movie, it was hard for me because this is my first time doing this. But I am glad that we did this because I can make other movies myself.

Our new assignment is called COMPOSITION. It's the placement or arrangement of visual elements in a work of art. There are 9 types of composition, but we were given the choice to pick 3 of them but we can also do all 9 if we wish. I chose to do 8 of them, line, shape, simplification, negative space, sub-framing, rule of space, rule of odds, and rhythm.

This assignment gave us the opportunity to take pictures of different types of motion. Panning, exaggerated motion, stopping motion, and blur to show motion. To take the "right" picture, we had to play with the settings of the camera. The shutter speed, aperture, and the ISO speed, it depends on the motion that we're taking. At first, we weren't really sure how to take the pictures in action, but after playing and working with the camera and the props, we were getting used to it.

PANNING

To pan, you need to take multiple pictures following the subject's movement. The subject will be the main focus in the picture and the background will be blurry. 

EXAGGERATED MOTION

Image may contain: one or more people and night

This is a motion where the subject(person) is creating an impression or overdoing something to make a unique picture, doing something different to make the picture better.

STOPPING MOTION

Image may contain: 1 person, night

This motion shows one subject that is moving but its clear and it's on focus. Everything can be blurry but one subject needs to be on focus. You just need to take the picture at the right time, it might take a while but you will get it eventually.

BLUR TO SHOW MOTION

This motion is where people are moving and creating different types of movement. In some pictures, the main focus is the props and the people that are working/ playing with the props are blurred out but it can also be the other way around.
