Here are 10 Tips to taking some really good portraits:

1) You have to make the subject take up most of the space within the photo (main subject). You do this so that the viewer's mind and eyes do not wander from other distractions, you really want to capture the viewer's attention.

2) You want to apply the Rule of Thirds Technique.
